Skyler Vallo originally hails from Roanoke, Virginia where she went dressed as Madonna for career day in Pre-K. Growing up, Skyler would scour the local newspaper for auditions and beg her mother to take her to anything within a 50 mile radius. After college, and over 25 musical theatre productions under her belt she moved to Disney World to become a Princess. When she realized she may not become a Disney star working at Disney World, she made the leap to Los Angeles.
Lavetta Cannon is an actor/writer/improviser living in Los Angeles where she is in training to become a “cougar.” Originally from Florida, she moved to Los Angeles after six “interesting” years of living in the Big Apple, where she struggled against becoming a royal bitch… and failed! Since moving to LA, however, she’s reconnected with the “polite phony-ness” of her upbringing and has added just the right amount of “hipster douche-ness” to become the right shade of pretentious-ness that’s expected of a “actor/writer type” living in La–La Land. She loves eating carbs and all things Japanese. When she’s not listening to a plethora of podcasts, she is watching an inappropriate amount of television.

Alexandra Boylan always pursues her goals without a parachute. From the moment the lights went up on the stage of her high school auditorium, she knew where she belonged—center stage. At age of nineteen, she packed her bags and moved to Los Angeles.
For a decade she paid her dues in Los Angeles. Honed her craft with acclaimed acting instructor Harry Mastrogeorge. Built a solid resume of independent films, short subjects, and music videos. The elusive big break always just out of reach. Frustrated sitting around waiting for the phone to ring, she decided to take back control. Utilizing the skills obtained on dozens of movie sets and harnessing the passion that fueled her to leave New England for the golden coast in the first place, she formed her own production company. The company’s first production, The House of Yes, had a sold out run at the Artworks Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.
Drawn by the incentives package offered by New Mexico’s governor, she packed her bags. In the Land of Enchantment she banded together with a small team of energetic filmmakers to create short films and an award winning web series called Flock. After finishing the series it was time to make a feature. With funds raised on Kickstarter she produced and starred in Home Sweet Home. Image Entertainment quickly scooped up the rights, and the film has since been released in the U.S., Asia, and Europe.
With a major feature film under her belt, she returned to California. She immersed herself in Women in Film, Los Angeles, mentoring and fostering the careers of a new generation of women filmmakers. Joining forces with the founder of Ms. In the Biz,
Helenna Santos, together they turned the blog into a book available in paperback and digital download. Thriving in Hollywood, Tenacious Tales and Tactics from Ms In the Biz available through Amazon.
Alexandra co-created “your pizza adventure” an innovative live action; choose your own adventure, style movie/app game available on the App Store.
Her second feature film, Catching Faith, was also picked up by Image Entertainment and is currently in worldwide distribution. The personal and professional success of Catching Faith reinforced her desire to fully immerse herself in faith-based films. Her new faith-based family film, A Wish For Christmas, is in post-production. Alexandra and her team are currently in development on a third faith based film.
Lauren Castle is originally from the rolling mountains of Virginia where she spent her high school drama career working alongside the late Lorin Maazel in many school plays including The Importance of Being Ernest. During college, she would take any audition and opportunity to act and hone in her skills. Her poise and beauty became something that many designers, fashion directors and photographers craved and she quickly became a sought out fashion model for brands such as Polo.
Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly are her biggest role models, she hopes to accomplish her goal of moving to Los Angeles to pursue her career in the upcoming year. She is honored to be working on this project because it’s not only a groundbreaking movie for all women in Hollywood but because she is excited to learn from strong, independent beautiful women who are leaders in the industry and are creating a path for other women to follow.
